I highly recommend this restaurant ! The food was superb and fresh and the ambience was welcoming!!! This restaurant is a hidden little gem!!! Service was amazing! They have very limited hours and they close at 3 p.m. so get there early. We had bacon cheeseburgers and they were so fresh and juicy it was great. The only thing that I have a complaint about is the water but that's not their fault!!!

Horrible experience... Clean but not sure how sanitized... Unfriendly, indifferent waitress... Didn't care where I sat.. coffee like dishwater,, deluted scrambled eggs, underbaked biscuit... I will NEVER go back..

Good food and service

Food is good and the waitresses are always kind and always polite. We usually go to the same Darrell's Dinner. We have been to other Darrell's but prefer this location.

We got there the 1st time today. The food was good and the waitresses were very nice. Heard Darrell's restaurant will be replacing the floor and new tables and chairs on 441. They will do this after 3 oclock. Can't wait to see it done.

Awesome staff and food. They have breakfast and burgers all day long. Best Burger I have eatten in awhile.

Poor coffee, taste like they never clean the coffee machine. Toast was just warm bread, hash browns we're almost raw even after I asked for well done. Sorry, they are not as good as they were

Home cooking at it's best. I personally love food like they have at Darrell's diner. Great place. Great environment. The puppy dogs on the walls will make you smile on a bad day. God bless!

This was a great find as we escaped The Villages. (not that there's anything wrong with The villages but sometimes you just need to get out). it was in a plaza and I don't think we would have seen it except that so many people had recommended it to us.the food was good and we enjoyed looking at the pictures of the dogs all over the wall. The people seem nice and it seem to attract a local regular crowd.

This is a fantastic diner to get breakfast or lunch so my Chicago friends if your ever around the villages in Florida this place is unbelievable can't go wrong 10 stars

When u walk in & the waitresses are talking & laughing with the customers--stay. They care about u. We had Kathy at the counter. Our orders were right & wonderful. Perfect biscuits.

I have yet to be disappointed at Darrell's! Our food has always cooked as ordered, it arrives fast and it's always served "hot!" Which in the area around and in the Villages is rare! If you want a really good, inexpensive, hot breakfast, served with a smile, visit Darrell's Diner. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

This is a basic diner, with basic seating as well as a counter to eat at. The owners are very nice and the food and service is good. Good place for a quick meal. They only serve breakfast and lunch and then close.

The place was great. When I went on it was 2:30 forgetting that they close at 3:00. Said I was sorry, waitress said no problem. I ordered a chicken wrap which came with a pasta salad. It was great!! The service and food were very good. Would recommend this place for Breakfast or lunch!!!

Hash was burnt. Had to send that back! Hashbrons were way overcook hard couldn't eat those either. Didn't send them back ..Amway's loved that diner. But will rethink it.. Bring AJ back!! Nothing ever got past him that wasn't right!

Stopped in with my son for his birthday breakfast. Great choice! The bacon was thick and perfectly cooked. The pancakes , eggs, and toast were good too.

This is a very clean and bright restaurant with an attentive staff. The food is about what you'd expect and they are good with special orders. I really like the decor - all dog photos.
